Terms of Use
Last updated: October 19, 2026
The short version: Tabie is free to use. Use it however helps you, don't misuse it, and understand it comes as-is. Tabie can close tabs when you tell it to, so check before you clean.
These terms apply to the Tabie browser extension ("Tabie") and the website tabie.web.app. By installing Tabie or using the website, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Tabie.
1. License
We grant you a free, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Tabie on any browser and device you own or control, for personal or work use.
2. Acceptable use
- Don't redistribute modified copies of Tabie under the Tabie name or logo, or present them as official.
- Don't use Tabie or this website to break the law or harm others.
- Don't try to disrupt or overload the website.
3. Your data and actions
Tabie works on your own tabs, history, bookmarks and downloads, on your device. Actions such as Super Clean, Clean All, Smart Sleep, Merge Windows, closing tabs and removing history entries change your browser exactly as you ask. Tabie asks for confirmation before bulk actions, and closed tabs can usually be reopened from Recently Closed, but you're responsible for the actions you confirm. How we handle data (we don't collect any) is described in the Privacy Policy.
4. Third-party services
Tabie can send your search text to a search engine or AI assistant you choose, such as Google, Bing, DuckDuckGo, Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini. Those services are provided by third parties under their own terms and privacy policies. We're not responsible for them.
5. Trademarks
"Tabie" and the Tabie logo belong to the Tabie project. Browser and service names (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Google, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and others) are trademarks of their respective owners and are used only to describe compatibility.
6. No warranty
Tabie is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't guarantee that Tabie will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that it will work with every browser version.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Tabie project and its contributors won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, tabs, browsing sessions or profits, arising from your use of Tabie or this website. Because Tabie is free, our total liability for any claim is limited to zero dollars (US $0), where the law allows.
8. Changes and termination
We may update Tabie or these terms. When we change the terms, we'll update the date above; continuing to use Tabie means you accept the new terms. You can stop using Tabie at any time by uninstalling it.
